Your flooring business is probably leaking sales.

I help flooring dealers find the friction between being found and getting the sale.

Your website isn't just a brochure anymore. It's part of your showroom.

It's where customers search. Compare. Ask questions. Look at products. Build trust. And decide who gets the call.

The new showroom / 02

Your showroom isn't the only place customers shop anymore.

Today's flooring customer can discover you before they ever walk through your front door.

They search. They compare. They look at reviews. They browse products. They ask AI. They visit your website.

And sometimes they've already decided who they're calling before your salesperson ever gets a chance to talk to them.

Somewhere between those steps,
flooring dealers lose people.

That's where I start looking.

About Jason / Meta Build Consulting / 04
ABOUT / J.A.SAMPLE 001

Meta Build Consulting · Jason Anhorn — Flooring Growth Consultant

The person behind Meta Build Consulting.

I'm Jason.

Meta Build Consulting is the consulting practice I built around a simple idea: good businesses don't always need more noise.

Sometimes they need someone experienced enough to look at what's actually happening and tell them where the friction is.

I've spent more than two decades in sales and a significant part of my career inside the flooring industry.

  • I've sold it.
  • I've sourced it.
  • I've worked with products, distribution, sales teams and customers.
  • Today, through Meta Build Consulting, I work with flooring businesses to identify the gaps between being found, being understood, getting the lead and getting the sale.

Then technology enters the picture. When the right technology can remove friction, I bring that conversation to the table — including my connection with RepConnect.ai.

Meta Build Consulting

The company behind the consultant.

Meta Build Consulting is Jason Anhorn's independent consulting practice focused on helping businesses find practical opportunities to improve sales, customer experience and growth.

For flooring dealers, that means looking closely at the entire journey:

  1. Being found→
  2. Being understood→
  3. Product discovery→
  4. Lead→
  5. Showroom→
  6. Quote→
  7. Follow-up→
  8. Sale

The goal isn't to add more marketing. The goal is to make the existing business work better.

Dealer diagnostics / 05

Where's your leak?

Every dealer has one. Maybe you already know yours.

“You're great at what you do. Google just isn't making that obvious.”

Jason's note

Most dealers I talk to assume people know where they are. Local buyers don't search for your name — they search for “hardwood near me.” If your listing, reviews and site aren't saying the same thing, you're invisible at the exact moment someone's ready.

“Your website may be technically fine. That doesn't mean it's helping you sell.”

Jason's note

The test I use: would you let this site greet a customer at your front door? If the answer is “ehh,” it's costing you trust before anyone calls.

“If customers can't find the product, they can't fall in love with it.”

Jason's note

A wall of manufacturer logos isn't a product catalog. People shop by look, room, and budget. If they can't get there in a couple of clicks, they go somewhere they can.

“Your customers are increasingly asking machines questions about businesses and products. What do those machines know about you?”

Jason's note

Ask an AI assistant who the best flooring store in your town is. Whatever it says — that's now part of your reputation. Let's see what it's working with.

“Getting the lead is only half the job.”

Jason's note

I'd want to know: who answers the form, how fast, and what happens on day three when the customer doesn't respond. That's usually where the money goes.

“Every extra step creates another chance for the customer to move on.”

Jason's note

Measure, quote, revise, wait. Each handoff is a door the customer can walk out of. Usually a couple of those steps can get shorter.

“Sometimes the problem isn't traffic. It's what happens after the customer arrives.”

Jason's note

If the online experience and the showroom experience don't connect, people feel like they're starting over. That's friction — and it's fixable.

The toolbox / 06

How I help

I don't believe every flooring dealer needs the same fix.

First we figure out what's actually getting in the way. Then we decide what deserves attention.

01Tool / Recon

Dealer digital recon

I look at your business the way your customer sees it.Search · Maps · Website · Products · Reviews · Contact · Follow-upThe goal isn't more activity. The goal is fewer missed opportunities.
02Tool / Friction

Sales & conversion friction

Where are good prospects getting stuck? Where are salespeople wasting time? Where is the buying process harder than it needs to be?We find the friction.
03Tool / AI

Flooring AI strategy

Not “let's put a chatbot on your website.” Think product discovery, product matching, customer questions, lead qualification, sales enablement, showroom prep, follow-up.AI should make your people better. Not replace the people who know the business.
04Tool / Plan

Growth roadmap

You don't need a 60-page strategy deck. You need to know:Do this first. Then this. Don't spend money on this yet. That's the roadmap.
The technology layer / 07

Jason knows flooring.
RepConnect knows what's next.

I don't believe AI should replace the person who knows the business.

I believe it should make that person dramatically better.

That's why I'm connected with RepConnect.ai — a technology partner that brings flooring-specific technology into the parts of the customer journey that matter.

A quick disclaimer / 09

Things I don't do.

  • ✕Sell you an SEO package because you asked for more traffic.
  • ✕Tell you AI is going to magically fix your business.
  • ✕Give you a giant strategy deck and disappear.
  • ✕Pretend every flooring dealer needs the same thing.
  • ✕Replace good salespeople with robots.

Things I do.

  • 01Find the bottleneck.
  • 02Explain it in plain English.
  • 03Connect the right technology.
  • 04Help you prioritize.
  • 05Stay focused on the sale.

This is for flooring dealers who are good at flooring.

You're established. You know your products. You know your customers. Your team knows how to sell.

But something about the way customers find you, shop you, contact you, or move through the sales process feels harder than it should.

That's where I can help.

  • Independent dealers
  • Multi-location dealers
  • Showrooms
  • Flooring retailers
  • Commercial flooring
  • Specialty flooring
